李奈珍 イ・ナジン個展「月見展」

岩清水さやかとイ・ナジンは昨年ソウルのゼインゼノ・ギャラリーで同時期に個展を行い、今年３月にも同ギャラリーでのアートラボ・トーキョー作家のグループ展でもともに出品している。今回、二人は秋の季語にちなんで「お月見」と題した個展をアートラボ・トーキョーとアートラボ・アキバで開催する。
両国ともお月見の風習は伝統的に存在している。おそらくは中国文化の影響の範疇にあるのだろうが、東アジアの遠東に属する両国は世界中でもっとも近しい間柄なのだと思う。
日本人と韓国人の2人の作家はともに月を主題にした作品を数点据え、互いのオリジナルなアプローチの作品を中心に展開する予定だ。
イ・ナジンは動物の子供を描いた「ベビー・アニマルシリーズ」を発表する。生物は幼年から成年、老年を経て死に至る。ベビー・アニマルもこれからの人生を夢想しているのか、静かに現在の瞬間の中で瞑想しているかのように見える。

Korean artist, Lee Najin and Japanese artist, Sayaka Iwashimizu present their own solo exhibitions both titled “TSUKIMI ", at Art Lab AKIBA and at Art Lab TOKYO.
Korea and Japan have a tradition of “TSUKIMI (literally moon-viewing)”.
Besides, we have a lot of traditions similar to each other.
It could be said that the cultural relationship between Korea and Japan is very close.
Perhaps it is because that these two countries had been influenced by Chinese culture during the ancient and the medieval ages.
This time the artists from these two countries develop their own works with the same theme, which is interesting.
In the autumn of last year, Iwashimizu and Lee held solo exhibitions at Zeinxeno Gallery in Seoul .

All creatures are born and grow, and then finally they get old and die.
Do Baby Animals dream of their future lives?
Here, Lee's Baby Animals seem to be quietly meditating in the present moment.
